Marijuana And Your Lifestyle

Although it doesn't cause mental illness, we all know marijuana can alter your thinking and judgment.

To be honest, if you decide to smoke weed you will probably not have any of these problems. I'm not saying you're all clear to smoke 'till you choke, but statistics show that it is unlikely.

Lifestyle Change.

You may be surprised to learn that nearly every long-term weed smoker's behavior will eventuate his or her lifestyle change. As smoking weed rises on your personal priority list, some of the more valuable things in life start to slip you by.

Slowly, you may become detached. Your relationships end up shallow and your motivation nose-dives. Your lifestyle could eventually take a sharp turn for the worse.

Why does this happen?

If you have smoked weed for years, you are no longer seeking fulfillment. The marijuana delivers it to you. Heavy marijuana smokers can be quite content, even when they have no direction or goal in life. Smoking on, often a smoker's recreation, career, studies, or personal development are completely abandoned.

Weed smokers are other weed smokers closest friends. Sounds silly but if you are a heavy smoker of years, I'm willing to bet that many of your friends smoke weed.

If you would like to quit weed the first thing you need to do is find something new to give you fulfillment. What did you do for fun before you smoked weed? Why did you stop doing this?

You will also need to change your circle of friends. Not forever, but for now. Good people are everywhere and non-smokers are more able to help you. Trust me, if you don't do this you are going to have waves of temptation fighting against you.
